This is an interesting article from Scotland. We don’t necessarily agree with every single thing it says, but it is generally encouraging.

“I had to obliterate myself with drugs to get through it," she said. "Prostitution is paid rape. It is not a choice. It is not fun. It was not like work to me. It was trauma to me.”

Kudos to the BBC for calling a spade a spade and saying what it is: prostitution. (Even if they do call it sex work later in the article, it’s still progress.)
