Absolutely sick. Men are appearently allowed to wear baggy shorts and their only requirement is "not too baggy and 10 cm above the knee". For women they need to have a tight fitting bikini bottom and even more ridiculous description of it. I was honestly so annoyed, how insignificant and yet they'll take any chance to show blatant sexism.

UK gymnastics required tight bodysuits for women and girls (the attire we're all used to) but as soon as men and boys could compete as women/girls, they changed this requirement and now shorts are allowed. Women and girls in gymnastics have been trying to get this change implemented for years. Guess why it went through now? SMH, I'm so done with this blatant disregard of women's (and girl's) right to dignity, to our right to be something other than men's masturbatory aide.

Wasn't there something similar in the military albeit in the opposite direction?

Wherein military women were long forbidden to don all sorts of performative frou-frou, but as soon as the Dicks in Dresses showed up then make-up, jewelry, longer hairstyles, and the like were suddenly Roger that!

IIRC, its the same with women's prisons. Female inmates aren't allowed luxuries like jewelry, makeup, and lacy panties (or, at the very least, they have to pay for it). Hell, they struggle to get enough pads and tampons! But a male claiming he'll kill himself without pantyhose and frilly scarves will get them for free

I knew about the rules in prison being changed for men in dresses, but I had not heard about the military. I'm going to go take a look-see. Sometimes I have to take breaks from time to time, cuz it really isn't healthy being enraged 24/7.

So here is a discussion that I'll bet will show the huge divide, if it's "technically" used for both women and men who feel like women: https://www.wearethemighty.com/military-life/4-most-annoying-regulations-for-women-in-the-military/

Who wants to bet that garish, un-natural makeup is the norm and acceptable for some and not for others?

So tired of this shit. It's so blatant, they don't even care about pretending anymore.

I’m so glad they stood up to this nonsense. Hopefully it will lead to change.

Those shorts don't leave much to the imagination either. And the men in charge are STILL butthurt about it! Its obscene that this double standard still exists

Wow just look at the different expression they show when in shorts vs bottoms. They look much more confident.
