This is why I'm far more concerned with peaking the Democrats and holding them the fuck accountable to women's rights. Just because the Republicans and I both agree children shouldn't be medicated with puberty blockers doesn't mean they are on the side of women because they have been working a long game of getting the judiciary stacked with conservative judges so shit like this can happen in Texas. If it can happen in an almost purple state, it can happen in your next of the woods.

Exactly. Republicans are using the trans issue as a way to inflame tensions and pull in new single issue voters, but once they get that vote nothing will be done for the benefit of women’s rights and it’d be foolish to expect otherwise.

The Democrats are the ones who made this mess and they’re the only ones who can fix it. We have to emboldened more dems them to speak out again the woke. That’s the only way that we’ll put an end to this.

Republicans no longer have any firm ideology (other than sucking Trump's dick) to stand on so they use whatever talking point at hand to suit whatever their goals/needs are at the time. Then as soon as that issue is no longer useful to them, it gets dumped and forgotten.

I have also seen them use trans issues as a wedge issue to, as you said "pull in new single issue voters." They get a lot of "former liberals" to switch over on the issues of TRA wokeness so it's been a pretty successful campaign. If liberals were at all savvy, they would start putting some checks on TRA/Woke topics instead of how it's going now. Doesn't seem like that is going to happen though.

I just don't know what would peak the Democrats. They are the ones who crafted and voted for legislation like putting men in women's prisons.

I think it's probably a mixed bag. Notice how Kamala Harris the other day explicitly used "women" when talking about the abortion ban. Nothing about 'birthing people' or whatever AOC was using.

The politicians crafted and voted for the legislation. Dem voters are being held hostage by our own political party. I think most dem voters are either still in the dark or have already peaked but are too scared to speak out. Almost all of the trans legislation was secretly and swiftly passed, not just in the US but around the world and there’s a reason for that. Education about what’s really going on will peak the majority of Democrats. Unfortunately propaganda on our side is just as bad as the “fake news” during the trump era so I think getting them to realize that is the biggest challenge ahead.

Freedom for men, authoritarianism for women. This is the republican party.

Yeah, and that's exactly how the talibangelicals want it.

While the Democratic party seems to be authoritarianism for all.
