Yes, because perfectly normal and ethical people watch other people getting tortured for fun for shits and giggles.
I wonder when the first ISIS warrior who held Yezidi women as sex slaves will try to use "it was my kink, your honor!" as an excuse.

Actually, I once witnessed a great take down of white saviors and their "culture talk". It was at a very strange, i guess, "townhall meeting" by a "leftist" group on refugee matters, specifically on how to teach male refugees to respect women. They all babbled on about us needing to respect different cultures and what not. Out of sheer coincidence, a couple who had fled from, I think, Syria, was present and someone translated the discussion to them. They seemed increasingly confused and started to discuss among each other. Finally, the man asked the translator to state their opinion. He asked, if these young people were aware of the fact, that love as a concept exists in Arab countries too and that you do not hurt people you love by beating, raping or coercing them. The wife then added, that they fled the very things that these people perceived as "culture" and that they did not wish for anyone to "respect" that shit and allow it elsewhere. I liked this couple a lot, but mostly, the young people in attendance thought them to be... I don't know... Uncle Toms?

Women's Liberation
Feminism is the movement to liberate women from patriarchy.
We stand up for the rights of women as a sex-class. Women have a right to bodily autonomy and to set their own boundaries and have them respected. We resist efforts to limit women's reproductive autonomy. We condemn the men who exploit and abuse women in prostitution and pornography. We oppose all harms and forms of exploitation of women and girls, regardless of whether or not they're sold as "choice" or re-framed as "empowering." We oppose the movement to redefine "women" in a way that erases the realities of our lives and makes organizing for our liberation as a sex-class impossible.
"In the radical feminist view, the new feminism is not just the revival of a serious political movement for social equality. It is the second wave of the most important revolution in history. Its aim: the overthrow of the oldest, most rigid class/caste system in existence, the class system based on sex – a system consolidated over thousands of years, lending the archetypal male and female roles an undeserved legitimacy and seeming permanence." –Shulamith Firestone, The Dialectic of Sex
