Women's Liberation
Feminism is the movement to liberate women from patriarchy.
We stand up for the rights of women as a sex-class. Women have a right to bodily autonomy and to set their own boundaries and have them respected. We resist efforts to limit women's reproductive autonomy. We condemn the men who exploit and abuse women in prostitution and pornography. We oppose all harms and forms of exploitation of women and girls, regardless of whether or not they're sold as "choice" or re-framed as "empowering." We oppose the movement to redefine "women" in a way that erases the realities of our lives and makes organizing for our liberation as a sex-class impossible.

This needs far more attention. A lot has been said about the number of women giving up their careers during the pandemic due to domestic demands, and that is awful, but far more serious, a question of sheer survival, is the millions of women who have no choice but to risk their own lives and their families’ health to keep food on the table, and as the article states, women of color are disproportionately in this at-risk group. There is almost no care for the very people keeping this country running in a pandemic.
I live in a state run by Republican fuckwits (mostly white males, and the rest are white women) whose only response is to cut all chance of social support and safety measures for all workers and their families, and now the idiots are trying to repeal all mask mandates.
