You don't have to wait for the Equality Act's (very likely) passing the House of Representatives to contact your Senators (especially Republican Senators) to counter the measure. Here's a brief toolkit:
Form letter (based on WoLF) --
As your constituent, I urge you to please vote NO on H.R. 5, the "Equality Act" (https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/5/text).
While I support preventing discrimination against women and LGB people, H.R. 5 as written would harm women and girls by falsely conflating "gender identity" with the legally protected category of "sex" (woman and man). It would endanger women's and girl's sports and open women's and girl's legally sex-exclusive spaces to men and boys, eroding established protections.

You could also contact your Governor, State Delegates and Senators, and every official in your State Board of Education down to the district level and insist that they protect Title IX conventions regarding girl's sports and bathroom privacy in the schools.
