Partners for Ethical Care is collaborating with Cardinal Support Network to bring awareness to what’s happening inside the gender clinic at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and what people can do to stop it. Together, we have been working toward a compelling statement that brings people to action against the harms being done to children and the proposed legislation that would stop it. The Save Adolescents from Experimentation (SAFE) Act (House Bill 454) in Ohio will protect children from experimental medical “treatments,” and both PEC and Cardinal Support Network are committed to advocating for ethical treatment of children who are struggling with issues of identity during difficult periods of their lives. We need to inform the public and connect struggling parents to resources and each other to guide children toward paths that don’t lead to becoming lifelong medical patients. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital advertises that it treats “transgender and gender non-conforming youth from age 4 to their 25th birthday,” and the director, Dr. Lee Ann Conard has testified that they medicalize 100% of their patients.

This is where we need your help. We have a contract in our hands for two large billboards near one of the busiest gender clinics in the US. We want to return it within the next 48 hours, signed with payment.

Can you help us raise $4800 in 48 hours to tell everyone that “gender medicine” is harming kids and that No Child Is Born in the Wrong Body? We need to pass the SAFE Act, and we need people to call their representatives. This campaign is focused, and we feel confident that it will make a difference in the lives of children in Ohio and beyond. Our volunteers at both organizations are ready to serve as people look to us for resources and ways to take action. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, PEC has volunteered to collect funds for this awareness campaign.
