Well, I’ve been on Ovarit for a good long while and have many times expressed love for my friends; a group of beautiful (inside and out) interesting, intelligent, funny (and fun to hang out with!) young women - I am really blessed :)

My only “problem” (which isn’t really a problem cus we just avoid the topic) is that they are very much indoctrinated into the gender BS.

They are the “be kind” variety of “feminist” (quotation quotes are there since genderism isn’t kind, and any woman who caters to it is not a feminist, by definition) Well, there is clear cognitive dissonance at play here - being pseudofeminists they are well aware of the patriarchy and how dangerous men are, they know the DV and SA stats and they know about female suffering. One has just got her endo diagnosis and surgery after 10 fucking years of agonising bleeding for weeks at a time. We have all been through male behaviour - ranging from medical misogyny, to DV, to sexual harassment and/or assault to sexual coercion and/or rape. THEN they just go TWAW ....like? For real?

I obviously thought (many years ago now lol) that I could point out how WRONG and patriarchal gender ideology is - how is a fucking man, parading around in some mock performance, whilst claiming to “feel” female....having spent not one day on earth as a woman NOT akin to a freaking minstrel show - I thought my mates would get it. Nope.

Well, I’ve kept my mouth shut regarding this topic for years, maybe slipping in the odd little “evil terf dog whistle” or at least snuck them some food for thought.

They know I’m a full blown TERF, I initially lost a hell of a lot of respect for them due to this difference of opinion but HERE is my good little terfy idea: if you have friends or family who like reading, then gift them Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez for birthday presents and other special occasions.

Women are so brainwashed when it comes to the physiological dimorphism in humans. I mean, each of us is bathed in misogyny from birth...casual misogyny is as normalised as brushing our teeth. We (I was born in 96) were brought up to believe “oh, men used to be bad to women, historically, but then they got the vote and are now equal”...a LIE taught to us whilst our male peers were leering at us, groping us, upskirting us, rating our bodies out of 10.... a LIE as proven in this book. Every PERSON should read this book. Men need to fucking take a good long look at their own privilege...they don’t exactly get top points for empathy tho, eh? 🙄
