Just going to highlight this bit, which is mentioned in the article and which has been shared a lot online:
There is no minimum age at which a child’s gender marker and NHS number can be changed. Parents can change the gender marker and NHS number of their child via their GP. Paediatricians have raised this with the Review as a safeguarding concern. A paediatrician and safeguarding expert provided the following example:
‘There was a paediatrician who brought a case to me for advice as they were having difficulty in engaging Children’s Social Care with a child who was presenting at primary school with behavioural difficulties. The child had been brought up in the preferred gender of the mother which was different to their birth assigned gender. She had gone to the GP and requested a change of gender /NHS number when the baby was a few weeks old and the GP had complied. Children’s Social Care did not perceive this as a child protection issue.’

The child who's been forced to pretend to be the opposite sex since birth acting out says to me that that's a boy. But, either way, it's incredible that the West is running an impromptu experiment about what happens to children when they've been socially and medically fucked with for no good reason.
o/Activism is a circle for sharing various calls to action for feminist causes, including petitions, fundraisers, letter-writing or call-in campaigns, etc.
The call to action should be clear from the post itself. Do not post links to news/articles and then write about what to do about them in the comments. Instead, make a text post with the action to take described in the post, and then include any links to news/articles in the text post. Posts that are links should only be links to pages that include calls to action in them, or are relevant, current activism resources. No one should be left wondering "but what am I to do about it?" after reading a post.
Image posts are only enabled for event fliers and advertisements of feminist groups. No other images are allowed.
Personal or action-inspiring activism reports may be appropriate here, subject to mod discretion. This is not a discussion circle but a call to action circle, so the activism report needs to contribute to calling others to action. In general, it's a better idea to use the feminist discussion circles listed below.
Activism groups that are friendly to gender critical feminists can also be advertised here. However, advertisements for Discord chat rooms or other private groups must be pre-approved by /o/Activism moderators before you post. Please report any ads for private groups that do not have a comment from a mod confirming that it is approved. Never give anyone sensitive information that could be used to de-anonymize you without first vetting them yourself. Be careful!
This circle is about accomplishing specific feminist goals. If you want to discuss ideologies, current events, debates, articles, or news, use other circles such as /o/WomensLiberation or /o/GenderCritical. If you are posting a specific event, you probably want to post to /o/FeministEvents as well.
Worth having a read of the Sullivan review if you have time. It's available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/independent-review-of-data-statistics-and-research-on-sex-and-gender
