DiscussionAre you scared to post pictures of your work?

Despite the fact I've known how to crochet for 14 or 15 years, I have only finished two projects, one which was something I made this year with my name on it. As a result, I've had nothing to post, and the one thing I do have that is postable, would make me able to be doxxed.

I would like to post the next project I finish, but I'm scared to put it both here and reddit because I don't want people using the item to triangulate me between accounts.

The third thing that makes me nervous about posting pictures is that I feel like my projects are weird. The sweater I am working on right now is ugly as sin. But the yarn is soft. That's the real reason I'm making it.

Are you also nervous to share your work online, and if so, why? I just feel like the arts and crafts world online is very visually-dominated, obviously - arts and crafts are for looking at. But I think there are a lot of us who just like to stay in shadows!
