Apologies if this is the wrong circle to ask this in:
I have a questions specifically for any women diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD), or any women who are psychiatrists or psychologists who work with women diagnosed with BPD. I’m working on a fantasy comic, but I want to portray the illnesses being included as true to real life as I can. With that in mind:
When it comes mood related symptoms such as irritability or hostility, in the context of interactions with another person, do these symptoms present differently if it’s someone who more of a potential threat to you as opposed to someone who poses less of a threat?
Do you have any specific triggers that you’re aware of that cause these symptoms to present?
And this question may be a bit more invasive, so despite this post being entirely optional, I just especially want to stress that with this final question. When mood related symptoms are presenting, what thoughts or impulses do you most commonly act on?
I'm glad to see someone else watched this episode. Notice she pulled her kids out of private school. No where is safe, even if you have money!
I like Megyn. I know she's somewhat of a darling of the right, but she gives no quarter with this foolishness.
This was a pretty great interview. Really wish she had gone harder on the trans kid issue, Bill has been dancing around the woke genderists all season and it's starting to seem suspicious. His final monologue for "New Rules" this episode was great and perfectly applies to the stupid gender bullshit, so I really don't understand why he won't call it out!
He's made dumb comments about transgender stuff in the past, such as presenting "bathroom bills" as being based upon "imaginary concerns," and mocking the idea of predatory males taking advantage of pro-genderism policies. Not really a fan of Steven Crowder, but he actually did a pretty good response to Bill's poo-pooing of a guest talking about people saying that men can menstruate. He refused to take it seriously, and Steven proved that not only are people saying this, but that companies are saying this.
I wish Bill had the guts to go there. Maybe he relies too much on his interns to tell him what the hot topics are now?
I've wondered what's up with him too. Usually there are no sacred cows if he thinks something is laughable, and this seems like just the sort of thing that he would find ridiculous. He's probably been told.
At the same time I'm not surprised he doesn't think much of the bathroom bills. I mean, I used to think that way too - who would go through the trouble? Well, I know better now!
I remember Bill rolling his eyes in a New Rules segment about TRAs canceling The Vagina Monologs
I remember he had Eddie Izzard on before he’d come out as trans and Bill kept being up the subject of him wearing women’s clothes and kind of mocking him. And I think after the heat he received from that episode he reeled it in. I’m sure if he had Eddie on now he’d be treating him like a proper lady to pander to the woketivists he claims to resent.
