I cannot believe that I didn't know about this book before now (description in link). It's a real treasure, beautifully written, a lesson in creeping ideology, heart wrenching. Should be required reading. If you have an Audible subscription, it is an audible plus selection (am in Canada).
Separate bur related, the book also made me sad that kids today are spending some of their school time on gender lies when they could be spending it discussing books like this one, actually learning and thinking about the world and people.
