Recommendation RequestThe best book for steel-womaning gender ideology?
Posted August 17, 2022 by [Deleted] in Books

I’m writing something for which I (unfortunately) want/need to show I’ve at least studied or know something about ‘the other side’ of the gender ideology issue, from a theoretical perspective, so I’m looking for a recommendation of the most ‘important’ or ‘best’ or 'strongest' text from the other side.

Is it a Butler text, maybe, or something else? All recommendations welcome.

I thought the colours were Green White Violent because G,W,V = Give Women Votes.

The colors stood for both. Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence sure had a flair for publicity.

It's interesting that cats were used to ridicule suffragists before they took back the symbol! 🐱 It's reminiscent of how cats are used to ridicule women today.

Make the famous Cat and Mouse Act poster all the more ironic, too.

I wonder if its a coincidence but there are anti feminist women who use 'cat' in their username on social media. One of them is pretty well known, I won't name her as she might appear in a cloud of sulfur.

I wish I could find whether Saxon made it safely through that journey …
