I know the title is a bit broad, but because I'm nearing the end of my current term and will be enjoying a month-long break from classes, I'm in the market for a new book and was hoping that someone could help me!
I'm really interested in British and Irish history, as well as of Scandinavia, and was wondering if any of you knew of good books on the subject written by female academics (and if I'm really lucky, having some kind of feminist-leaning in her analysis...)
I read from a lot of amazing feminist-specific academics and know those authors well, but I'm at a bit of a crossroads when it comes to trying to find good female academics that write specifically about history.
I should also say though that I'm open to books on history from any time period or geographical location! So any books/authors you can think of is fantastic.
Thank you so much for your help!!
