If anyone is looking for a rec, I would say this was the best book I read this summer, and particularly impressive as it is a debut novel.
It explores the intense beauty pressures places on four young Korean women, from whose perspectives the novel is narrated, and gives an insight into the absurd and bewildering array of treatments and surgical procedures which they undergo.
This is on my goodreads list! I can't wait to read it
