We were lucky enough to get the chance to see Patti Smith in person recently, and got this book along with our tickets. I've been in a reading funk lately, but this book was a nice way to dip my toe back into reading, and I found it incredibly moving! There are so many women I learned about such as Alice Ball (invented the cure for leprosy but her work was stolen) and Maryam Mirzakhani (first woman and first Iranian to win a Fields Medal), and I love that she uses her IG to share their stories, among other things.

I wasn't following Patti on IG so all of the photos in her book were new to me, and I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the Witch Elm by Tana French. A real page-turner.

SO GOOD! I'm not sure if she's done writing or what, she was releasing a book every two years starting w Into the Woods but she hasn't released any book since The Searcher and it's been three+ years now :(
