Has anyone else read this book? Just read it- really enjoyed it and I'd be love to hear the opinions of it from those who know more about femanism than me. There were strong themes in this book that I'd be interested to hear everyone's view on.
I honestly believe trans nonsense is another concerted effort to push women back into 'our place' à la the extremely sexist ad campaigns after the Second World War.
Every time women gain some ground, some rights, some dignity, there is always something to push us back.
Yep - every time women have gains there are men who find some way to exploit those gains for themselves, in a way which is detrimental to women.
I haven’t engaged with it because it makes me too angry.. but my work is advertising how we’re meant to be “celebrating ALL women” this women’s day. “All women” including the men who are invading your spaces and bastardising the struggles you face… 😬🥲🙃
We can’t fight every battle - we have to pick them, so we have the energy for what matters the most, or will be mist effective.
