Recommendation RequestBook Recommendations for a woman who loves children's literature?

I have a knack for buying books that are on very heavy topics such as mental health, trauma, abuse, etc. I see no problem with this, but from time to time, I like to take breaks from reading books like those. I need something to help me decompress the heaviness of reading some of those books, so I'd like to ask for book recommendations from you all. I want to read children's books because they seem more free with the imagination, and they aren't usually bogged down by themes of real-life romance.

To help you with some recommendations, here are some of the books that I enjoyed reading as a kid:

  • Junie B. Jones book series
  • The Tale of Desperaux
  • The Secret School by Avi
  • Hatchet
  • Warrior Cats book series
  • Poppy by Avi
  • The Guardians of Gahoole book series
  • Walk Two Moons

Honestly, I might just go back and read these classics again to re-live the wonder between each page, but when I want to branch out and read something different, I think the book recommendations could be of some help to me. What are some good children's books that you know of?
