I think my favorite book that I've read this summer was My Best Friend's Exorcist by Grady Hendrix. It takes place in the late 80s and it's got a very fun slasher vibe to it. It's a story about the close friendship between two girls and while it's about teenagers, it doesn't feel super YA. If you like horror and best friends, you should pick it up! It made me miss my besties of 20+ years who live in different states.

What have you read this summer?

The TIMs wouldn't understand that a woman with narrow hips and broad shoulders is still a woman and still has a female skeleton. Since they're busy enforcing gender stereotypes while insisting they are not, they think all women are supposed to have an hourglass figure, or they're not women. Or if they're Black, they're not women. They have major problems with science and logic and are not happy that TERFs are logical and scientific about biological sex.
