So there's this unspoken rule on the radfem side of Tumblr that if you want to engage with them, the expectation is you'll have done some pre-emptive homework and read up on some theory. Different accounts will give you different lists of books, but these are some of the ones that you'll typically see on all of them. I haven't had a chance to read any of them myself, but I'm going to buy them all at once from AbeBooks (which is an online outlet I can't recommend enough. No joke, they sell secondhand books in great condition for practically nothing. Cheaper than even amazon) once my birthday hits as a present for myself

I think the great majority of people are living in a bizarre little escapist bubble these days, created by isolation and the artificiality of their primary contact with other humans coming through the internet. It was already bad before the pandemic, but the pandemic made it much, much worse.
FFS, we're not over here getting off on 'gatekeeping,' we're sick of men forcing themselves on us in every conceivable way. It's not a matter of confidence and we aren't what's keeping you from being a woman, reality is what's doing that all on its own.

Saying that women “gatekeep” womanhood is like saying black people “gatekeep” being black - it’s utterly nonsensical. You’re either female (a woman) or not. If someone is born male then he will never be female, i.e. a woman. If someone is born white then she/he will never be black; just like if someone is born black they will never be white (and so on and so forth). This child is being groomed into a misogynistic, homophobic cult that praises itself for grooming children - his parents have failed him. Should he continue on his current path, his entire future will be a constant litany of pain and suffering. Sterilization, mutilation, emotional abuse, social isolation…the list goes on and on. I hope this young man gets the real help he needs, and not that “if you think you’re trans you probably are! Now, when can we book your castration party?” bullshit. Maybe he’ll see reality for what it is and give up the gender cult before it’s too late, but at this point it looks unlikely. He’s drank the kool-aid and is already handing himself over to those AGP perverts with sissification fetishes at r/mtf

I'm 16 years old and would like gravity to work in reverse. I am sooo sad that is not happening and no one is on board with agreeing with me. If I could just be one of those who believe gravity works the way it's always worked, I'd be so euphoric!

This guy might still have a chance if he can let go of that sexual covetousness for the attention men give women. I think a lot of young gay men go through that phase and hopefully grow out of it if they stay out of the gender black hole. Nobody else but fetishists (and maybe homophobic parents) want him to be "trans" either.
This seems to be a trend in the gay TIMs. They're jealous of the attention men give real women. And they think the straight dudes they covet will immediately fall for them if they can make themselves look enough like a blow-up doll. They think women live on easy mode (at least where dating/relationships are concerned)
I agree. It might have been in the AskGayBros sub, but a woman was asking for help because her gay younger brother was getting increasingly misogynistic towards her and her mother. The guys told her that he was likely going through that phase (late high school/college-aged) of being surrounded by hot guys that would never be interested in him. They told her he would probably grow out of it if she could just hold out for a bit while also shutting down his attitude. It was news to me, but apparently common for many gay men. Hopefully the little turd grew into a better person since I never saw a followup. They either get over it or hide the covetousness better...or trans now.

For real though, this poor boy would be much better off if he could be convinced to be happy as an effeminate gay man. But that would be "conversion therapy". So, instead, any doctor or therapist he consults will dismiss his misgivings about being trans and shove him down the conveyor belt of drugs, surgery, etc in the vain hope of becoming passable as a heterosexual female.
I really hope he comes to his senses before be does permanent damage to himself. He seems like the type who would get genital surgery because he thinks its the magic solution to his distress; only to realize that he's still depressed AND his health will be shit forever because of the surgery.

The problem started when we decided to stop treating men who truly believe they are women the same way we would treat someone who thought they were Jesus Christ or thought they were a horse.
They need mental health treatment and validating their fantasy is just leaving them to their sicknesses. You can't be a woman anymore than you can be a horse or the son of God and the sooner you can accept that the closer you are to the road to recovery.
I remember reading a post of a guy who said the reason he transitioned so late was because he thought it was impossible, like becoming a fairy. But then he found Reddit and realized it was “possible” and chose to transition later in life. The phrase TWAW is absolutely feeding into delusion, giving people false promises, and spreading false hope.
That's the consequence of these monsters. They set out to groom people online and then boast about cracking peoples egg. 'If you think you might be trans then you probably are' and all that BS.

Its not like this idea of chaning sex is a modern one. There are stories about such changes in mythology and folklore, but that's all they are, stories.

I had the same belief myself, assuming that because the WHO has this stance, many respected medical societies and all of academia so they must have strong evidence that its true.
