I am not Catholic, but I appreciate when a person can state their position and what they think and how they arrived to that conclusion. Some of what is so frustrating about the gender ideology mess right now is that so many people say "some people just feel this way and you have to believe them or you are mean/bigoted/stupid etc."
Some of it is probably Roman Catholic specific, and it could well be pretty sexist (just guessing, but I wouldn't be surprised.) It probably has some good points, though.
I'm intrigued, but I'm very leery of anything in the vein of religious dogmatism. I went to Catholic school, and it's not something I'm inclined to revisit.
Still, it's exceedingly difficult to find and then dig into the supposed "research" that's bandied about to provide evidentiary support of the "affirmation model," when the reality is that none truly exists.
Because of that, I welcome any book that can shine a much needed light on the bullshit.
Haven't read it, but the 1 in 50 number in the commentary is just because they've started calling PCOS 'intersex' now. It's totally not, which just goes to show how much these people want to convolute the truth to average uniformed persons.
