NonfictionIndependently Published Memoir of Mother with ROGD Daughter
Posted October 26, 2021 by Hollyhock in Books

This caught my eye in a review, so I have not read it. However, the review and the comments in Goodreads are intriguing and despite one TRA review giving it one star (of course!), it sounds like a look inside the pain of loving parents. It appears to be about an honest (not candy coated) story of a mother whose daughter sounds like she went through ROGD. I don't know if I have time to read it at this point, but I wanted to get this on our radar. I read Ovarit comments a lot and see many personal stories of women who have children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews struggling with gender ideology.

It's an independently published book (self published), which isn't surprising because publishers only want a certain slant in this climate. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/58027537-when-he-was-anna?from_search=true&from_srp=true&qid=GeksfJPrJd&rank=1

Accurate, especially the “I hope you get stung”.
