Recommendation Requestfeminist utopias?
I was just reading a post about Woman on the Edge of Time, and it occurred to me to ask here for recommendations for feminist utopian novels - I'm in a utopian book club and we may be running out of ideas (also three of the last four books had trans characters, trans authors or trans protagonists; I declined to read the latter two, and would probably have declined the other one as well if I'd been aware there was a TIM character). I think I've asked this before, but there seems to have been an influx of new Ovarites since then so I thought it might be worth asking again. We did read The Fifth Sacred Thing a while back, on my recommendation, but I think only one other person in the book club (the only other woman, as it turns out) actually read it - the excuse was that it's out of print and hard to get hold of, so fair enough I guess.

In my experience they are either cuddle bunnies to the 10th degree or roaming pirate/mad max road warriors - sometimes within minutes of the same hour.

Terrance loves belly rubs! Phillip does to a lesser extent - he’s more aloof but he still doesn’t do like most cats do and WHACK you.

Well we do have a hard time getting stuff done but it has more to do with them constantly begging for food than with their cuteness. We tried everything to keep them off the counters but just gave up when we realized it was futile.

What cuties! Like last time they remind me of my dear departed Twain. The smartest and most mischievous cat I’ve ever known. I’ve read that the orange tabbies tend to be very smart and make the occasional cat genius. Love to see these guys.

Aww thank you! I took the advice and really limited the laser pointer use and got an interactive treat dispenser instead. It keeps them occupied but not overstimulated while my parents and I eat our dinner in peace.
