Science FictionAn Idea I had for a feminist sci fi novel
A concept: in a world where a deadly alien virus secretly affects all men on the planet, but the process is so slow and gradual, no one realizes that an epidemic has even taken place until its too late.
Now 99% of all men have been completely zombified, reduced to walking-life-support systems for a sentient tumorous growth they keep tucked away between their hips. From here on out, they may seemingly act like their old selves, with no one aware that any change has taken place, but now, all these men care about is nourishing the needs of the parasite that's taken over their bodies/minds. And all the parasite cares about is reproducing- which can only be done if their host male knocks up a woman and she has a son- which will also be born as a life-support system for a new sentient alien zombie-worm which will remain dormant until puberty.
(For those of you who haven't picked up on it yet, this entire story premise is a metaphor for men's propensity for sexual violence as a class)
So basically zombified men's entire MO is to seduce women, and get them alone (upon which they reveal their true monstrous forms and force themselves on their stunned and freaked out hookups). The men then pretend the encounter never happened when confronted later, and begin pursuing new women to rape. No one will believe these women when they try and share what happened because let's be real, would YOU believe someone when they came forward and said "Your brother/father/uncle/neighbor/coworker is actually a zombie to an alien parasite controlling his every thought/action and he only pretends to be human in order to lure in victims?"
The protagonist of this story would be a woman who gets the shock of her life when the boyfriend she thought she vetted so carefully turns out to be a Host on the night of their engagement, and when she learns she's expecting a baby boy, she has to go on an adventure to try and end the pregnancy before she brings another monster into this world.
So what do you guys think? An interesting premise or too on-the-nose?

If he’s going for parody this is hilarious. If he’s serious it’s extremely depressing, but also still hilarious, because what bulking gym bro dedicates hours to working out and balancing his nutrition for maximum gains, and then feels distress at not being a dainty little girl?
The one TIM I know was like this. Attractive, worked out, did triathlons, etc. Now he's a creepy TIM who thinks he's a "manic pixie dream girl."

For some reason when I see dudes who are super into having big muscles I sorta assume there’s some kind of hidden issue with femininity that is possibly that they, like this guy, have a fetish for wanting to look attractive to other men, and the LIFTING HEAVY BRO is what they channel it into. I know that’s a lot of analyzing and sounds mean but I can’t help but see that in probably half of the python-armed men I’ve met.

Re: all the comments that he's hot as a guy: in my experience, this occurs more often than you'd think. It may be that hyper testosterone levels (think Bruce Jenner) can be responsible for the kink that leads to the transing.

That was my first thought, too. This really shows how porn-addled these guys are. He's a really good looking, in shape guy. He could have had a lot of success dating (I'm going out on a not so long limb and saying his personality is utter shit and even his good looks didn't help him get any dates). It's interesting too because most of those incel mass murderers have not been remotely ugly men. Physically, anyway. They tell each other that women won't go for them because they have small wrists or slightly downturned eyes or are of average height. When in the cases of these men it was their creeper personalities that were the problem.
