I got super into reading this year. Feel free to list more than one! Other people can take your top picks as recommendations (or books to cross off their to-read list).
For best, I'll say... Life of Pi by Yann Martel and I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdey. The former I had chosen half-heartedly as a reading challenge at the library because I didn't like the movie when it came out. But I haven't stopped thinking about the book since I read it! The latter was just really insightful and reflective, I highly recommend it if you enjoyed Educated by Tara Westover, though I'm Glad My Mom Died is a much lighter read despite the title suggesting otherwise. Oh and I really enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird which I read for the first time.
Worst is a tie between The Death of Vivek Oji (I made a post about it, spoiler warning) and Less by Andrew Sean Greer. The latter was boring and the main character came off as a self-insert.
