Science FictionTo all the philosophy, sci-fi and/or cyberpunk enjoyers

To any gyns out there who are into philosophy (in particular modernism, speculative realism, OOO) and/or science fiction, feel free to comment on this post and help me with my capstone writing assignment that is following along these themes.

As a beginner writer, producing literary work is incredibly difficult, but I really wanna do well on this capstone piece for my creative writing class. Feel free to answer some of the following questions:

What are your favourite philosophical works and why? (Preferably modern)

What makes a good sci-fi story?

What do you think about object-oriented ontology? Is it a waste of time? Is it the end game of modern philosophy?

What's a moment/experience you've had that was existential or bordering on that?

Why do you think that people dissociate/zone out? Why does it happen so much to women?

Do you think of the human body as purely organic, or a machine?

Edit: I got a 92 on my capstone! :) Feel free to comment more, I love hearing the opinions
