Biographies and MemoirsBest autobiographies you've ever read?

This is one of my favorite book genres. I think that reading someone's autobiography is the closest you can get to stepping into someone else's shoes. So I'm always looking for good titles.

Off the top of my head, I think the best ones I've read are Unveiled by Yasmine Mohammed and Educated by Tara Westover.

Both are:

  • Super heavy reads.
  • Seem like they would only talk about one thing but actually cover a wide range of human experiences.
  • Are very memorable books, off the top of my head I can recall many details.
  • Made me feel a huge amount of respect for the authors for not only going through what they did but also coming out the other side as better, stronger, and smarter women.

A much lighter autobiography I enjoyed was Bryan Cranston's A Life In Parts. The man had an interesting life.
