Our goal is to encourage reading books of all kinds, and to be a place for open and civil discussion about any book or author. Whether you read occasionally or every day, whatever your reading tastes and opinions, we hope you will join in and support other members.

If your post reveals details of the plot of a recently published book, consider adding “Spoilers” to the subject and in your post. Spoilers aren’t required for older books or very well-known by most people.

I can also recommend The Last Summer (2021) by Eleonore Holmgren. It's a feelgood book about an 80+ year old woman and her adventures one summer.
