I've been studying Spanish (primarily Mexican Spanish) a lot recently and it's been going pretty good. I've pretty much gotten to a point I can read and listen to Spanish dialogue without the need of a dictionary, but I do want to get into reading actual books in Spanish.
Any recommendations on radical feminist books in Spanish, preferably those that aren't just translations of English books? If you have any recommendations on books in general you think are good that are in Spanish as well, that'd be great too!
Laura Lecuona is a radfem Mexican author. Her most recent book is in English but she seems to have written one in Spanish in 2016: https://www.spinifexpress.com.au/lauralecuona
I’m asking my Colombian radfem friend for you. She’s an academic of literature and she’s written some of her own stuff too. Hopefully she’ll have some good recommendations for you!
She gave some suggestions for fiction. Her highly recommended ones are: Catedrales by Claudia Piñeiro, Los Divinos by Laura Restrepo and Delirio by Laura Restrepo. She also suggested poets: Meira del Mar and Alfonsina Storni. Is that the sort of thing you were after or did you want something academic?
