I cringe to ask, fearing being shouted down, because so many of them are awful. (Not all!)
At the same time, no other genre - SF, horror, true crime, potboilers, none of which have no more intrinsic merit than romance - gets the same scorn. And no other genre is almost entirely female, wrt both authors and readers.
As I'm massively stressed, I'm reading a lot of it these days as it's a. an easy read and b. mental comfort food.
I think this person is a troll. I went to the Twitter page and in December 24 2021 they said "If trans men are men and trans women are women then pro athletes can use whatever PEDs they want."
