BookstoresOnline Book Stores: Search Recommendation is biased towards Gender Identify Ideology Books!
Today, whilst comparing prices between two large online bookstores, AMAZON and a major one for the country that I reside in, I noticed that the online bookstore for my country's search function kept recommending pro gender identity ideology books after I selected gender critical books (eg TRANS, Gender Hurts, Material Girls, Irreversible Damage, etc).
I would normally purchase books from my country's online bookstore, however today I was TURFED UP and I purchased all my books from AMAZON, which did not recommend pro gender identity ideology textbooks after I selected gender critical textbooks.
I am not sure whether this has been the topic of discussion before. It probably has... However, in case it hasn't, have any of you experienced an online book search engine recommending pro gender identity ideology textbooks after you search for gender critical textbooks.
This is another example of how those in power, or with power, shape what is defined to be 'knowledge'. I feel like I am living in a dystopian nightmare. A search engine for an online bookstore shaping buyer's choices. Not once did it bring up any other gender critical books. This online bookstore has lost my custom!!!
