I thought it was just me so after a couple days of being unable to message anybody, I switched to Chrome spits on ground and now I'm able to.
However, I've come to find out it's not just me and some other users are unable to send messages as well; I don't know their search engines.
Anybody else having this issue?
same issues here. can't do messaging on safari but i just switched to chrome and now it's working. so maybe there's a safari related bug?

It seems to affect webkit (so mobile browsers on iphones as well as safari) and affects flair and private messages.
I’ve just had the same issue come up. It’s not the site being very slow to send (which happens a lot), there was no response at all when I hit Send Message. I’m on Firefox.
Yeah, I can't send messages via my phone. I pressed the button about 20 times, hoping I wasn't spamming the other person, but nothing was sent.
Messaging worked on Chrome.
