This possible bug has been observed on two devices:

  • Laptop running Kubuntu 20.04, Firefox 81.0 (64-bit) &&
  • on a mobile phone, Android 10, Firefox for Android 81.1.4 (Build # 2015768387)

Concerning this post: https://ovarit.com/o/Radfemmery/7240/a-man-comes-in-my-life-and-i-have-to-compromise-for-what

Viewing the post both on the permalink page and in the "new" feed for /o/Radfemmery, when I click on the "play" button

(1) the post does not "expand" like it typically does for pictures or other videos. Maybe this part is not a bug, and instead was an intended feature, since the file type is an mp4 -- could have been assumed audio-only files would be submitted as .mp4?

(2) when I re-click the play button, I hear the second audio stream start, but the first also keeps playing. If I keep re-clicking, I hear more new audio streams layering on top of the first couple. It would be nice if re-clicking the play button paused the video/audio clip or that the clip would 'restart', so the audio doesn't layer like it currently is.

Thanks!

Thanks for the great bug report! I tried your steps and got the same results on my device.

Of course!! Glad to help and try to do my best following the bug report rules :p I imagine it's quite the frustrating pain in the butt when little info is provided for trying to replicate the bug.
