This began happening a few days ago. I don't know if it's connected to the donation feature, but that's when it started.
Every time I close my browser, I have to re-log in to Ovarit. That has never happened before since the site was created. This is inconvenient and I'm worried I'm going to get locked out permanently.
Logged in to say I have the same problem, but I don't think I even have to close my browser for this to happen.
Me too! I thought I did something because I accidentally logged out, but now even when I hit remember me it doesn’t.

Same here, it's been doing this constantly to me on Firefox ever since the donations update. I hate the mess of spyware that is Chrome though so I'll just keep on logging in.
ETA: I do check the remember me box on Firefox. it's usually always remembered me faithfully until I clear the cache myself.

If you have access to the email connected to your account (which you can check or change by going to your user profile and then choosing "Account" from the side menu or hamburger menu on mobile) then you will be able to solve any lock-out problems using the "Forgot your password" link.
When I try doing that I get asked to create a new password, nothing about having forgotten the old one. I don’t want to mess about with it because the system gets pissy if I use my user name and tells me the password is wrong if I don’t.
What browser are you all using? I haven't had this happen at all. I'm on Chrome.

Same! I posted it in the wrong circle and didn’t put it here yet, but, same! I did a search of this circle, and it shows that this has been a problem for various people in the past as well

I have this on mobile only (iOS Safari). Somehow (for me) it doesn't affect the desktop experience on Chrome.
Along with the donations feature, we made a change that messed up the browser cookie which is used for the "remember me" feature. This has now been fixed, however if your browser is hanging onto a messed up "remember me" cookie, you may get logged out one more time. If that happens to you, after you log in again you should get a correct "remember me" cookie, and the site should work like it used to.
