[APR 2023] Edinburgh University cancels film screening after trans rights protest
Anti-women's rights protesters physically stopped women from watching a film called Adult Human Female, and it's reported as a celebration of love over hate. Imagine how it would be reported if it was a bunch of anti-trans protesters who tried to stop trans people from watching a film celebrating transgenderism?
Fuck their feelings. If they don’t like the movie, don’t watch it. But they should not have the right to disrupt events for everybody else.
Dear wannabe censors, there is such a thing as the internet where we can watch wrong-think material. Also thanks for reminding me, that FILM has been on my to-watch list for a while already and the weekend's coming up ;)
And, dear wannabe censors: you might want to reconsider if you are applying the terms "hate crime, transphobia and bigotry" correctly. Overusing an (alleged) weapon makes it blunt rather quickly.
These masked assholes wouldn't be so brave standing up for any real problem. But bullying women because they believe in a sex binary? That's a job these worthless creatures line up to do.

Perhaps because the people are not as understanding when they bully older women who are clearly disabled. (The angry GC woman in the video uses a mobility walker.)
I’m not victim blaming, but I wonder, can’t someone just hold it at their sizable home, or rent a private property to do it?

I do it to my alma mater too (a women's college that now takes men), the last time the fundraiser actually hung up on me! Classy!
Oh I got hung up on too. In truth I did feel a little bad laying my grievances on some hourly telemarketing employee, but I was polite and did ask to be transferred to a supervisor. Once I got a woke zombie who tried to argue with the slogans. Bright side though, I think I’ve been put on the don’t call list.
Was an undergraduate making the phone call, not a telemarketer. They probably advise them to hang up if they feel the person they are speaking with is hostile, but I was trying to educate her!
