Showing up again to plug these circles: o/teenagers, o/parenting, o/genderresearch, o/hetrelationships, o/intersectionality, o/crone, and o/news

My disclaimer is that these names are placeholders. Others can get creative with the names if they'd so like.

  • o/teenagers and o/crone because we need a place specific to these age categories in order for both youth and our elders to discuss their specific experiences and form connections.

  • the concept of o/genderresearch would be a circle specific to any research that has to do with transgenderism, gender norms, prostitution, etc. Basically, this circle would exist to be specific to sharing and having discussions on research that is relevant to gender critical feminist analysis in some way. We need a place separate from the o/STEM circle so that o/STEM doesn't get flooded, and this place can also be used for people to quickly look for/archive posts and discussions useful for addressing mis/disinformation.

  • o/hetrelationships is needed so that straight and bisexual women can talk about their experiences with men. I get that we have o/women as a general circle, but straight up it does not feel right to use o/women as a place to talk about men.

  • o/intersectionality can exist for conversations and experiences surrounding ethnicity, race, racism, nationality, colorism, etc.

  • o/parenting because we sorely need a parenting circle.

  • o/news, because it could benefit the site's growth culturally and intellectually to have a general news circle where the content is not related to gender critical/feminist topics. It would be fascinating to be able to read other gender critical women's thoughts on general world news/current events and share our knowledge.

Thank you.
