Reddit has a big network of ED focused subreddits. Some are dedicated to recovery while others are just trigger material. Either way, with the majority of ED sufferers being women, I don’t feel that Reddit is a safe place for them and I’ve already seen TRA occupying of those spaces begin. Men will prey upon women wherever they are most found and women with EDs are especially vulnerable.

As a woman with an ED, I would feel much safer connecting with women seeking recovery support here than I would on Reddit.
