I'd like to propose a new circle: o/antipornography. Porn, in my opinion, is one of the patriarchy's best tools and does untold damage to women -- both at the hands of the studios, the industry, and the abusive porn addicts. This is why I was surprised to see that Ovarit doesn't have a general anti-porn circle -- the only two circles that are antiporn are o/antikink and o/itsafetish, but those focus on BDSM and AGP, respectively. I'd like a circle to focus on the general harms of porn and the porn industry on women, not necessarily BDSM and AGP.
This is desperately needed, considering that the most active Reddit antiporn board is being taken over by the addicts and is quickly turning into Nofap II.
I've been posting stuff in o/antikink ... It's maybe not the most aptly named, but i think anti-sexwork, anti-prostitution, and anti-kink should be in one circle. Otherwise it's probably not enough content.

But yes, I'm not too happy with the current direction the Reddit board is going in. There are way too many addict posts, one of the moderators is a TIF, and the other one is a TRA. I'm sick and tired of hearing addicts say that they're the real victims of porn -- there's lots of help for them to quit. Not so much for the women in the industry.
They banned all 3 of my alts within a few hours, lol. I was getting too outspoken, they definitely went after me. That particular username got several bans in a row, it is pretty funny.
I stepped away from the r/antipornography board about the time GC was cancelled. Wow, I am sorry to hear about what has happened there! I can't believe it also went TRA, but not too surprised. Thanks for the update!

The TIF is engaged to a porn-addict AGP TIM, and the non-trans TRA is probably a TRA, I think, because of a Jamie Clayton fetish/L Word fandom.
I first got involved in the antiporn movement on Reddit in about May 2020, and I stepped away from Reddit the day before GC was banned (I needed a break from social media). I came back in September 2021, and I was sad to see the direction it was going in and the banning of GC. Like I said, it's pretty indistinguishable from Nofap at this point.
Do you remember r/pornfreerelationships, the sub that actually gave women good advice for dealing with porn addicts and restricted addicts from posting? Now it plays second fiddle to another sub, r/loveafterporn, that's moderated by the TIF and is overrun with addicts.
I know there's an antiporn board on Saidit, but it's not very active. If it is true that Ovarit can't create any new circles because of server space, I think we should go to Saidit for the time being.
