This circle is for sharing and discussing feminist or women-oriented events of all kinds, including local in-person events, online webinars, interactive calls, and livestreams, and video premieres. Post an upcoming event, let us know about an event you’re organizing, share your experience from an event you attended, or discuss ideas for a potential event.
Our goal is to share feminist events of all kinds, including global and local events, online and in-person, and to encourage and promote involvement in feminist causes and an understanding of current women's issues and women's history.
If you want to share a local event, but don’t want to reveal your location, please DM a mod and we can post the event for you.
Use the appropriate flair (post and add afterwards) and include the location, date and time (with time zone), and cost, when applicable:
If local, add the location in brackets: Feminist Event [place name]
Include the date and time (with time zone): Feminist Event [date time (GMT)]
If not free, mention the price of event (fixed price or donation): Feminist Event [$5]
All feminist events are welcome, but please be mindful of the Ovarit Sitewide Rules when discussing challenging or controversial content.
