We are so sorry to share with you the news that Get the L Out won’t be able to join us at our event on June 8th. The good news, however, is that we have some equally all-star lesbian activists lined up for you!
At home in Canada, the Vancouver Lesbian Collective has been tackling the issues of lesbian erasure, the lesbian right to define ourselves, the silencing of lesbians, and women’s liberation. You will not be disappointed with this swap.

At Sapphic Circle we are committed to discussing all things lesbian! In fact, since Sapphic Circle began we discussed how great it would be to do an event with the VLC women. And now we’ve got our chance.
The VLC will come speak about:
Why they organise as lesbians-only within the women's liberation movement
Contemporary threats to lesbians’ bodily, sexual, and political autonomy
Their campaigns, past and present and More!

A bit about the impetus for the Vancouver Lesbian Collective…
“Lesbianism is the only form of human sexuality in which women do not relate sexually to men. That is why we are under attack. And it is also why we won't give in. When lesbians are visible and proud, we and all other girls and women have more power to determine our political, sexual, and bodily boundaries. Join us in celebrating lesbian pride!”
