Violence and TraumaBREAKING: Feminist protest in Cancun, Mexico, turns violent as police shoots the protesters

The feminist protest that was looking to get justice for violentnly murdered 20 year old woman Bianca Alejandrina Lorenzana Alvarado, “Alexis”, turned violent when the protesters tried breaking into the Municipal Palace of very touristy Cancun, Mexico. Fire was set to the installations and soon after Municipal Police started shooting the protestors, who were mostly women.

At least 8 people with gunshot wounds, among them a female journalist.

Alexis, a vendor of electronics, disappeared last friday (November 7th) while delivering a package to a client. Her mother told the authorities to no avail and family members and friends were looking for her.

Her body was found dismembered yesterday inside trash bags on the street.

I will always do everything in my power to protect the unborn, defend our state’s pro-life laws, and work to ensure that unlicensed individuals endangering the lives of women by performing illegal abortions are fully prosecuted," Licensed individuals endangering the lives of women by following my laws to the letter can let women die.
