Advice wantedHealth apps
Posted December 15, 2020 by Carrots90 in Fitness

I’m looking for an app where I can log my workouts, vitamins, alcohol, coffee, menstrual cycle etc.

Any suggestions?

Thank you Giuliana for the idea for the Nike training app for workout ideas!!

BTW the Nike training app asks for female vs male! If you pick female there is menstrual tracking. Many app reviews were negative for lack of ‘nonbinaty’ options.

Cronometer has an impressive array of micronutrient tracking and can be linked with your Apple Health and/or fitness tracker (or add workouts manually)

I know this is an old post but checkout Cronometer. I did keto for a while and found this app to be really great at tracking macros, vitamins, minerals etc. In addition to just calories.

The apps I use are

    • My Fitness Pal for diet and calories
    • Nike Training Club for when I cbb setting up a workout
    • Strava because if you don't Strave it then it didn't happen :) It's great to share and brag about runs & hikes with friends and colleagues.

MFP logs just enough data for me, but it focused on calories and macros. I think Apple Health has a much broader range of data points available. I used to use FitBit, which had lots of data points but is only truly helpful if you have a FitBit. I have Garmin Connect too, but I don't use it much.
