Advice wantedHow to get used to strength training and lessen the fatigue the day after?

Hey ovarites,

Just for context: I'm in good shape, exercise a lot, and I've been working on cleaning up my diet. One thing that interests me to get into is strength training, and I've been at it for about... 3-ish weeks. I train the entire body with machines as I don't have to confidence that I can safely do free weights training.

I've made attempts in the past as well and each time I stop doing it because the impact on my daily life is too great. The day after I usually have tremendous fatigue to the point of it being disabling. Next week will be busy so I feel like I can't strength train as I can't afford to lose whole days to fatigue.

How do I get into strength training?
