I used to be able to do 1 pull-up, now I can do 3, but I feel like I've reached a plateau and now I am thinking of changing my routine.
Now I do pull-ups 2-3 times a week. I always do different grips and exercise till muscle faulure. For example: do 3 overhand pull-ups, do some leg exercise, do 2-3 underhand pull-ups, do some abs exersise, do 1-2 neutral pull-ups, do some leg exercises again, do one negative pull-up.
I do this on Tuesday and Friday and then on Sunday I only do pull-ups if I am not completely knackered after my rock climbing.
I am trying to understand whether I need to train more or less. Ideas I am considering: ditch pull-ups on Sundays as bouldering already involves a lot of pulling; add one more pull-up day, for example Wednesday; do pull-ups everyday but not till failure - like 1 pull-up.
