Keep up with my marathon training plan and decide by the end of the month if I'll be up for a full marathon in April.
I've really been working on getting more fit, but I hit a wall of exercise intolerance, a problem with autoimmune disease. I had to take a break, then cut back my bike goals from 15k to 12 per day. I think I'm finally starting to feel a little better.
I'm visiting Mont Saint Michel in a few months, so my big goal is to be able to climb all the way up to the monastery. I'm doing it at the end of the trip so I can recover on the ferry home.
The joints on the left side of my body are a mess so I'm drawing back my weight lifting a little (I decreased the weight by 20 percent) and am trying to treat myself a little better: taking a soaking bath once a week, using my at-home massagers, and eventually springing for a professional massage.
My sleep schedule is totally out of whack even though I'm technically getting adequate sleep, so I'm going to be working on that this month. It's one thing to sleep until 10 am in winter, but heading into spring, I want to get up earlier.
Last month I focused on macros and did decently well. For February I plan to continue my half marathon training. I've been solid for the first three weeks, and it's a very long plan to start very slowly so I don't burn out or injure myself. Still trying to do mobility work on off days, I'm not as good at that.
And this isn't strictly fitness, but I need to get back on top of my sleep schedule. I've definitely been experiencing the effects of not getting enough sleep and I feel like as I get older it affects my overall well-being more.
