I do not stand to profit in any way from sales. I simply saw this and found it amusing, in the sense that you have to have humor to deal with this clown situation.
I love her art. Came across her movie Sita sings the Blues 15 years ago when I was blissfully unaware of TERF, TRA, TQ etc.
Completely lost track of her work, then rediscovered her via the Heterodorx podcast. When I saw the first card designs, I laughed out loud and immediately ordered a set because, as you say, humour is essential.
International shipping cost is a bit ouchy, but I guess I'm going to have to order a deck.
It's not just a deck of playing cards with some amusing artwork, before long it'll become a piece of history, a physical artifact a culture war/cultural revolution that mostly took place online. Whatever the eventual outcome, a reminder that a few brave souls pushed back against the insanity that spread so rapidly through our institutions.
I love these! But it would have been more fitting if all the Kings and Jacks were TiMs.
