This does look cute! The character designs remind me of Touhou, which I used to love before the skeevy incel community ruined it. I will definitely buy this.

Well, the Touhou games are all created by one guy - he does the programming, the music, the art design, etc. He can't really draw, though (his words, not mine!), so the characters kind of look like charming blobs.
The chronically online male fanbase has decided that they're loli waifus, and that's all you see in discussion spaces anymore.
Most of the characters have official ages. One died when she was 23. Another was in her forties and had a grown son. But nope. Lolis!
I see... Yeah I was turned off by all the creeps that decided that it is a waifu series for creepy moids like the Neptunia, Senran Kagura and Death or Alive series...
So the characters only look like that because the dev doesn't know how to draw older looking female characters?
Yes - on his old website, he used to document his (failed) attempts to draw more realistic proportions. I think he just gave up at some point?
This new game gives me those old cozy feels, with a Red Riding Hood vibe.

the publisher being square Enix at least gives me hope that the creator won’t make a retcon sequel with trans bullshit like Celeste. what a disappointment that turned out to be. But I’d like confirmation that the characters in this game are exclusively female before committing to a purchase. Looks very cute though!
I wonder if any troll game developer has ever done the reverse of that. Give the TRA audience a romance of what are perceived to be TIMs, but one turns out to be a man in a Halloween costume and the other is a tall woman, so they just end up as a regular straight couple.
The trailer and page don't let on about the lesbian relationship. Is it with the main character or just some minor side character?

Thanks for posting. I just added it to my wishlist on Steam! I wish there more games with lesbian main characters. Unfortunately, the combo of being a same sex attracted and a women is grossly sexualized so it's hard to come by any. If anyone sees this comment, please feel free to DM with lesbian books or games.
