People seem to have mixed feelings about it with some saying Atlus is becoming " woke " while others are praising the removal of the " transphobic joke " as the boys run away from the TIM in the original scene as soon as they find out it is a male...

There are also wokies unhappy with the change due to thinking it is " trans erasure " to replace the TIM with what appears to be a real bio woman conspiracy theorist...

Personally I think that is what Atlus will do in the future... They will just not have anymore trans characters in their future games to reduce the chances of controvercy on both sides...

Atlus has included trans characters in some of their games but they never supported trans ideology and always left it clear that TIMs like the one from the beach in P3 and Erica in Catherine are viewed as male not as real women in the games...

This makes me wonder how they would handle Naoto in a potential P4 remake though... For those who don't know Naoto is a confused girl in Persona 4 that passes for a boy due to wanting to be taken seriously on her job among other things... TIPs love to turn her trans...

I won't be getting the P3 remake in any event since they decided to disrespect the female fans and leave the FeMC out of the remake...
