I loved the first game so much. Chloe is like my favorite character ever and I love Max as well, but I don't know how I feel about them making another game centering on Max without Chloe also having a big presence. It's a huge point of contention in the Fandom right now about the marketing being so cagey about Chloe's involvement in the new game. What do you think about it?
I would like this to be a general discussion about life is strange, while we're on topic, did you choose to save Chloe or Arcadia Bay?
For me, I will always save Chloe over Arcadia Bay, even though the developers screwed us over with the half-assed ending scene that you get when you choose to save Chloe, I still think it is the most meaningful choice for the game's themes, the future, as well as Max's character.
For me, the best case scenario for the new game would be to see Chloe and Max married if you chose to save Chloe in the last game. However, I acknowledge that this is probably a long shot and everyone who desperately wants to see more of Max and Chloe's relationship will be severely disappointed when this game comes out.
I just started life is strange true colors (I've never played it before) and I'm happy to see Alex and Steph's relationship, but disappointed that they made one of Steph's exes be a TIM. Considering she was the only life is strange character who was canonically and exclusively same-sex attracted, it's disappointing that they had to ruin it.
In the new game, I think that if you didn't save Chloe, Max will have a new female love interest option and we don't yet know if there will also be a male love interest option or not. I've seen some people complaining that not including a male love interest option in the game is 'bi erasure' but I think that is dumb, maybe Max could be febfem!
