This game has been in development for so long... I remember back when it was announced waaay back in the end of 2016 under the codename Project Re:Fantasy...
Personally I was not very interested when I saw the first trailer as I am not very interested in games with silent self-insert male protagonists like most Atlus games tend to be but the protagonist of Metaphor: ReFantazio is not silent so I think I may check this one out...

I have a huge soft spot for pretty bishonen characters like that... XD
I also heard the game may take some inspiration from Berserk too and combines it with Persona and MegaTen themes so that may be interesting to see too...
There is a free demo already out for anyone interested...
The game seems to be receiving positive scores from video game websites...
I know I will be watching the story on YouTube regardless if I play it or not in any event...
I’m thinking of picking it up for the pretty bishies as well, but probably on sale since I have a huge backlog of games on my to-play list. The premise and election system sound interesting though - I’m a fan of political dramas - plus the characters thankfully look older than high schoolers. (I tried but could never get into the Persona games because I hated the high school sim aspect). So yeah, I’m putting it on my Steam wishlist and will be avoiding spoilers until I can try it out :)
